Everyone knows, much like diet and exercise, networking is good for you, but few make it a priority. Whether a practicing lawyer or charged with helping lawyers market their practice, the need to “network” engenders powerful attitudinal obstacles. But without utilizing networking as a relationship building tool, both the law firm and the professionals in it are, simply, less than their potential. The more one invests in networking, regardless of one’s role in the firm, the more returns there are for everyone.
